How Much Does an Animated Explainer Video Cost in the UK?
The short answer? Anywhere from £1,000 to £10,000+ for a professionally produced animated explainer video.
I know. Quite the range.
But I promise there's a good reason for it!
A simple 30-second animation using existing brand assets is a very different project from a two-minute, fully illustrated explainer with bespoke characters, scripting, voiceover and all the bells and whistles.
Both are technically animated videos, but the amount of work involved (and therefore the cost) can be worlds apart.
The good news is that you don't necessarily need a massive budget to make something effective. It's more about finding the right approach for what you're trying to communicate.
Personally, I don't work with fixed animation packages or charge by the second. Every project is inevitably different, so I look at what you're trying to achieve, what assets you've already got, and how we can make the most of your budget.
Sometimes that means a fully bespoke animation. Other times, a simpler approach might do the job just as well.
