Global Citizens’ Assembly

The Challenge.

The Global Citizens’ Assembly needed a way to explain their mission - involving everyday people in climate and policy decision-making - in a way that felt credible yet accessible. The goal was to create an animation that avoided the usual “charity” look and instead positioned the GCA as a trusted, forward-thinking global initiative.

My role

I led the art direction, motion design, and storytelling, crafting a visual language that combined science, clarity, and warmth.
Working closely with ISWE, I developed a distinctive style using abstract dot formations and organic transitions to symbolise collaboration and global unity.
I also handled pacing, animation, and sound to deliver an emotionally resonant film.

The Outcome.

The final explainer animation became a cornerstone piece for the GCA - used across presentations, events, and digital platforms to communicate their mission to funders, partners, and the public.
It helped the organisation tell a complex story simply and beautifully, setting a new visual benchmark for their communications.
